NYRR offers a limited number of entries to the 2025 United Airlines NYC Half to athletes who meet the time qualifying standards at a certified half marathon race that is not held by NYRR during the qualifying window (a full calendar year prior to the application).
9+1 Program. NYRR members who, in 2024, run nine qualifying NYRR races and volunteer at one qualifying event, are eligible to claim guaranteed non-complimentary entry to the 2025 TCS New York City Marathon during the guaranteed entry claim period (dates TBD).

2025 Program for 2026 Guaranteed Entry. In 2025, there are more than 30 in-person races and there are three virtual races that are eligible for 9+1 program credit toward guaranteed entry to the 2025 TCS New York City Marathon.

Eligibility for entry to the 2025 RBC Brooklyn Half will be guaranteed for participants that register for and complete six NYRR virtual races at the NYRR Virtual 6 program rate between January 1, 2024 and December 31, 2024.

NYRR time qualifiers may qualify using either a full or half marathon time. For Non-NYRR time qualifiers, the United Airlines NYC Half and the RBC Brooklyn Half will only accept qualifying half marathon times, and the TCS New York City Marathon will only accept qualifying full marathon times.
