  3. NoFrills (watch face) - Showcase - Connect IQ - Garmin Forums

    forums.garmin.com/.../nofrills-watch-face?pifragment-1298=22

The No Frills watchface was acting normally the entire time and was never stuck on high power mode. Afterwards, when connected to my laptop, Garmin Connect recorded my steps this time and the option to use the smaller clock font was on NO in the settings.

We have no access to that hardware and therefor have to rely on the high-power mode as explained above. Why is my heart rate not displayed? The heart rate is only for compatible watches with a built-in optical heart rate sensor at the bottom of the watch. The current supported models are: fenix3 HR; d2 bravo Titanium; vivoactive HR; FR 235; FR ...

  6. Alarm malfunctions/ issues - vivoactive 3 Series - Garmin Forums

    forums.garmin.com/sports-fitness/sports-fitness/f/vivo...

    (2) to test the above issue, I set up a "one time" alarm. My "no frills" watchface showed 2 alarms. The 2nd alarm worked properly and I stopped it (I'm positive I stopped it and did not hit "snooze"). After, my "no frills" watchface showed I still have 2 alarms. However, 10 mins. later it went off again.

  7. Available stock watchfaces and screen legibility

    forums.garmin.com/sports-fitness/running-multisport/f/...

However pictures I see of the 955 feature a black background stock watchface with outlined digits, and I really need a white background with solid big black digits and no frills or color. Is that possible with the 955? If so, could someone post a picture of it? I know CIQ watchfaces are plenty, but I prefer a stock watchface.

  8. Watch face not updating to installed watch face

    forums.garmin.com/outdoor-recreation/outdoor-recreation...

I have an installed watch face (No Frills). When I select it on the watch, it states uploading watch, then installs the factory default watch face. But, when I go into Garmin Connect and select the installed watch face (No Frills) and change the settings.

  9. GPS that displays MPH in tenths - Garmin Forums

    forums.garmin.com/apps-software/mobile-apps-web/f/garmin...

I'm looking for a good basic no-frills GPS that displays MPH in tenths. My dad wants one for doing field work on the tractor. I guess water-proof would be a bonus too. As inexpensive as possible. I thought I read the etrex 20 did tenths. But I can't find any verification of that. Thanks for the help! Mike

  10. New VA3 lasted 2 days and 23 hrs on original 100% charge

    forums.garmin.com/sports-fitness/sports-fitness/f/vivo...

I'm at over 7 days on a single charge and I still have %11 battery left. That's with no GPS use at all. Sideswipe disabled. No backlight with gesture. Shortest timeout for the light. And a good amount of notifications all week. Using the default analog watchface with the seconds and 3 modifiable fields. Going to see if I can make it to the full 8.

  11. Unusual battery percentage readings - Garmin Forums

    forums.garmin.com/sports-fitness/sports-fitness/f/...

Native screen when charging, though I use a third party watch face (the “No Frills” one) in daily use, which shows battery level. Consumption has been steady in the time I’ve had the watch, and overall battery life is excellent compared to other sports watches I’ve owned.
