I contacted Comcast & they said I should be getting Newsmax Ch. 1115 because it's on the channel lineup I have. Yet, 1115 is absent from the channel guide. The channel numbers go from 1114 with the very next channel being 1121.

I watch Newsmax all day, and it keeps switching to other Newsmax programs, or commercials, then switches back after about five seconds (Yes, I timed it) this seems to happen more in the early hours of programming, other than later ones. I even watched other news outlets to see if it happened there as well, and it doesn't.
I tried to tune into NewsMax this morning and a box came up that said that I now needed a subscription. I have been able to watch this channel since 2020 for free. I called Xfinity and was told it was part of the Entertainment and Sports package and I did not have that package and that an audit must have been done and it would cost $9.99 per month.

Just so you are aware, Newsmax is now an all digital channel, because of this it can now be found on channel 1115. You can also say "Newsmax" into your Xfinity voice remote to easily navigate to that channel. Is the issue you are experiencing happening when attempting to navigate to that channel?
Please my friend lives in islamorada has comcast extended and when she inputs channel 1115 newsmax it skips to channel 1120 and yet i also live in the florida keys in key west and my newsmax works fine on my comcast any ideas as ti how I can help her get newsmax w/o having to buy a streaming device. thank you. susy
If I have my DVR tuner on Newsmax, Why is Newsmax seemingly the only station that my DVR stops tracking if I go watch something recorded. On other stations the DVR tuner is on, after watching or exiting a recorded DVR show, I can go back, rewind, and watch the DVR station that had been playing.
The voice remote is also very handy. You can say Newsmax into the remote to tune to the station. Another great feature is that you can also stream it in the Xfintiy Stream app so you have it on the go or if you are without a cable box.
