Alexis Martínez (died December 24, 2009) was a Spanish animal trainer, notable as the victim of a fatal attack by an orca (killer whale). He was killed by a SeaWorld -owned orca, Keto, held at Loro Parque 's Orca Ocean in the Canary Islands.
Alexis St. Martin was accidentally shot by a musket in 1822. His injuries included an opening into his stomach that would not close. Water and food could be placed in his stomach through the opening, or be drawn out with a syphon.
