Anyway, I installed the drivers that came in with the card and I wanted to download the newest drivers for my card, and the safest way to do it is by using GeForce Experience, but here is the thing I downloaded GeForce Experience from the site and I try to open the installer, it asks me if I want this program to make changes to my computer.
All was going well last night when I was gaming on my 3 month old Dell Inspirion 15 (7559). This morning I logged on to play some games, and noticed that Nvidia Geforce Experience had a notification that there was a driver update available (they come out with frequent driver updates, and I have done this several times).

Before the issue, I'd be running games smoothly at 1060p@60fps, however just before this driver update, I noticed games running at a much lower frame rate than I'm used to, regardless of whether V-sync ...
For example, I tried testing Overwatch at 4k with every other setting turned down low & been only getting 15 fps. The optimize suggestion on the GeForce Experience says I should have it set at 4k with most of the other settings set at like Ultra. So unless Nvidia wants me to play at 15 fps, something is wrong. Any help would be really appreciated.

Specs: Model: MSI GF75 Thin 9SD. Processor: Intel (R) Core (TM) i7-9750H CPU @ 2.60GHz 2.60 GHz. Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Ti, Intel (R) UHD Graphics 630. RAM: Kingston DDR4 16x2 (bought externally and installed at the start of 2021. Fps is still smooth after installation, so it appears this was not the cause)
