I'd like the choice of hot keys or mouse.I absolutely long for an icon for a box zoom function and haven't seen too much preference for hot keys since the instructor on an Autocad course in the nineties got nostalgic about the skill needed to remember which keys did what compared to the new icons.
I am looking for hatch patterns from AutoCad to download it, but some of them the FreeCad doesn´t open the .pat file. Someone could be send me hatch patterns (just like the image attachment) or tell me where I find it. Ty!
Chocolately appears to be using exactly the same builds that are on the FreeCAD github releases page. Some people find Chocolately useful for various reasons, but it is plain dirt simple to download from the Releases page, extract with 7-zip, and run. No extra anything needed. Gene

In case it's helpful you can also first start FreeCAD and then drag and drop the URL from the browser to the FreeCAD main window. This opens the download manager window where when it's fully downloaded you can press a button to load the file. Note: You must not drop the url inside the Python console windows because this causes another behaviour.
I downloaded and installed LibreCAD and it will not open the same files either, however it will open ones that are a much older version of AutoCAD. FreeCAD still won't open the older ones. I get "QCAD error" on the older ones also. So at this point this is obviously something I can not do with FreeCAD, but I certainly appreciate all the ...
